Stepping into the year 2018, the RISK-NET final multiplier event was calling to open a new era of opportunities in managing risks in the regions. It took place at The General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania on 30-31 Januray 2018. The focus of the conference was to stimulate a discussion and share the ideas on the diversity and complexity of contemporary risks and their impact on the development and prosperity of the regions. At the conference and during the year, the RISK-NET community has promoted exchange and co-creation of insights on learning issues, knowledge, and best practices of different risk and security governance capacities. During the event, discussions and workshop sessions took place in order to present project results. This international conference aimed at expanding RISK-NET community, as well.
