28th February 2018 is the official project end date. After 30 months the aims and objectives have been achieved, all activities have been implemented, events have been organised, results have been developed. On 31 January - 1 February 2018 project partners met for the last time at The General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania to discuss project management issues; reflections on curriculum (O1) piloting and Mooc, students’ feedback, courses improvements, Moodle and course books; status of CoP (O2) and ICT platform (O3); other relevant questions.
Stepping into the year 2018, the RISK-NET final multiplier event was calling to open a new era of opportunities in managing risks in the regions. It took place at The General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania on 30-31 Januray 2018. The focus of the conference was to stimulate a discussion and share the ideas on the diversity and complexity of contemporary risks and their impact on the development and prosperity of the regions. At the conference and during the year, the RISK-NET community has promoted exchange and co-creation of insights on learning issues, knowledge, and best practices of different risk and security governance capacities. During the event, discussions and workshop sessions took place in order to present project results.

The Nordic Chapter of the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA) will be held at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland, November 2-3, 2017. Panel discussion „Challenges and opportunities of interdisciplinarity in risk studies and risk research“ invites researchers, academics and practitioners to discuss the challenges posed and opportunities provided by interdisciplinarity in risk studies and risk research. This discussion is inspired by Risk-Net project and is organised as a multiplier event of the project.

On November 2-4 project partners met for the fifth time at Design Factory, Aalto University & Radisson Blu, Espoo (Finland).

During 15–16 June Risk-Net partners met for the fourth time to discuss status, quality assurance, piloting and students’ feedback of Curriculum (O1), as well as CoP (O2) and platform (O3), multiplier events and SC meetings, project administration issues: budgeting and reporting. Meeting was busy and productive.
